Competitive and recreational axe throwing is becoming increasingly popular in North America. Quite simply, it’s like playing darts but with axes.
It's the ultimate adventure for those looking to step at least a toe outside of their comfort zone. Hurl the axes in enclosed lanes towards a wooden targets and try to hit the bulls eye. Yes, we know what you’re thinking! It sounds and looks a little crazy, but anyone can learn how to throw an axe and make it stick! Honestly!
And as intense as it may look, axe throwing is relatively easy to learn. Most people who come in have never thrown before and by the end of their session, they’re hitting bullseyes.
Why throw an axe?
It's fun and easy. Really. It sounds a lot harder than it is. The truth is, anyone can throw an axe! The secret to being good at axe throwing is it’s all in your form, not your strength.
Need a hobby? Come learn how to throw axes and let your inner lumberjack out. Axe throwing goes all the way back to the 7th century when the Vikings were around. They used axe throwing for survival. So now you have something in common with a Viking!

Common sense rules
We don't apply an age limit for throwing an axe, but players must have the strength and height to be cable of throwing the axe the length of the lane, which is 12 feet.
We charge by the hour, but before the clock starts running, there's a short safety session that includes signing your waivers, reviewing all safety procedures, rules, and participating in and receiving instruction on how to throw an axe.
We require all guests to wear closed toed shoes. Other than that wear whatever makes you comfortable – this is a sporting event, after all! Just remember that if your clothing restricts your arm movement, it’s gonna mess with your aim.
Axe throwing is open only to those age 18 or older. Participants must be willing and able to take responsibility to sign a legally-binding waiver before entering the throwing cage.
Remember...
1. We are throwing axes, not catching them!
2. We ask that you stay outside the cage unless you are one of the throwers.
3. One approved axe per target.
4. No one throws anything if someone is in the lane.
5. Axes do not leave the enclosed throwing area.
